Throughout the year Northwest Speycasting features group and private Fishing and Casting Schools locally here in Washington and Oregon, as well as some of the most remote and pristine steelhead and salmon waters of North America. Whether you're a beginning or veteran angler, the mixture of casting instruction and fishing one of the world's most prolific salmon or steelhead rivers is sure to be both exhilarating and rewarding. Think about it; where else would you rather learn and improve on your new casting and fishing skills?
Every year the last weeks of June and the first weeks of July represent the peak of the king salmon migration into the Kanektok River in southwest Alaska. During those weeks for the past two years Alaska West has hosted speycasting schools for their guest anglers pursuing the mighty king salmon of this incredible and remote river. Northwest Speycasting along with representatives from Sage, Simms, Rio, Ross, and Tibor have successfully provided their knowledge and experience to these anglers in a format that is both innovative and invigorating. Accommodations in camp are extremely comfortable with a staff that has set the standard in Alaska for over
a decade.
Northwest Speycasting is constantly looking for new and remote destination locations to provide it's Casting and Fishing Schools.
